Kāhui ā-Rohe | Clusters

Regional clusters support Māori language teachers at a local level. Clusters generally meet each term to plan together or workshop new teaching ideas.

Clusters are also a great way to access moderation support, and share resources.

If you would like to establish a cluster in your rohe, download an application form or contact us via email!

Cluster resources

These packages are intended as self-directed professional learning in a cluster environment. All packages are intended to be delivered within 1-2 hours and include all resources and supporting material.

Te Reo Māori - West Auckland

This cluster aims to meet each term to share teaching and learning resources, and to develop their understanding of Te Aho Arataki Marau mō te Ako i te Reo Māori, NCEA assessment and moderation. Nau mai, haere mai!

Te Reo Māori - Te Tauihu

This cluster has been working together for a number of years to support kaiako Reo Māori in the Nelson area. New members are always welcome.

Te Reo Māori ki Waikato

Our cluster is intended to serve the PD requirements of Senior Te Reo Maori teachers from schools within the Hamilton region with similar standards and programme intentions. Focus will be spent on the creation and moderation of assessment tasks and reo planning programmes.

Te Reo Māori - Te Kāhui o Horowhenua ki Manawatu

The Horowhenua ki Manawatu cluster was established in 2020 and encompasses the three secondary schools within the rohe with Horowhenua and Waiopehu Colleges in Levin, through to Manawatu College in Foxton. New members welcome.
