HE PŪRĀKAU, HE PŪKŌRERO
Arohanui Vause is a kaiako at Taipa Area School in Doubtless Bay, Muriwhenua. She is collaborating with Tracey Reid from Flaxmere College in Hastings. Both kaiako believe that through the teaching of local and traditional narratives, the levels of student achievement in literacy will increase. They, also, believe that through storytelling, students will want to learn more about their language, culture and identity.
Each cluster will share their findings from the collaborative cluster process. If you have an interest in this inquiry, you can request information from Arohanui Vause (email@example.com) or Tracey Reid (firstname.lastname@example.org).
