KEYNOTE SPEAKER - LEVI ARMSTRONG

Brought up in a gang environment, Levi Armstrong turned his experiences into something positive. Inspired by a kaiako Reo Māori, he turned to fitness, sport and education. He is now a co-director of Patu Aotearoa, a fitness organisation that provides sustainable and healthy lifestyle interventions. Levi also co-developed the "Meke-Meter", a tool that tracked their social, mental and physical well-being without the need for high literacy skills. Levi shared his inspiring story with our Ako Panuku whānau.
