Ko Wai Tātou?
Te Kāhui Kaiako Reo Māori is a national community that brings together anyone who has a vested interest in the teaching and learning of te reo Māori in schools, kura and wharekura.
Te Whāinga Matua
Our vision is for a hapori where members have the status, teaching, and learning of te reo Māori as a common bind. We seek to support each other in ways we can, all the while having te reo Māori at the heart of the conversations, connections and collaborations.
Ngā Kāhui ā-Rohe
Te Kāhui Kaiako Reo Māori is supported locally by regional clusters of Māori language teachers across Aotearoa New Zealand. The focus of every cluster is on teaching and learning of Māori language. Members can access local support and opportunities by networking with other Māori language teachers in their area.
Anybody with an interest in the teaching and learning of Te Reo Māori can join Te Kāhui Kaiako Reo Māori, and all membership is FREE.
We have two types of membership:
AKO PANUKU TEACHERS
